Dinsdale Contracts

Surfacing, planing and haulage in Cumbria. A night shift filmed in their own yard, and a phone number set where a driver can read it.

A still from the Dinsdale Contracts film, shot on their night shift
FILM · DINSDALE NIGHT SHIFT

THE BRIEF

They resurface roads, plane them back, and haul the stone. The work happens at night under lights, which is the most cinematic thing about the business and the thing nobody had ever photographed. They wanted more surfacing contracts and fewer one off jobs, and they wanted the towns they cover to be right rather than aspirational.

WHAT GOT BUILT

A homepage carried by a scroll-scrubbed film of their own night shift. One page for each service cluster, written long enough to rank and short enough to read. Location pages only for the towns they confirmed, none invented. Schema, sitemap and canonicals from the first deploy, and the phone number set at display scale at the close of every page. That is the full site build.

THE FILM

Work lights, steam coming off the planer, cones and a crew at mid distance. Their machines, their livery, their yard. It scrubs to the scroll and comes to rest at the bottom of the page, where the phone number is.
